Hayashibara Co., Ltd. has received a Gold rating* in a sustainability survey conducted by EcoVadis, an international supply chain assessment organization in France.

In this survey, Hayashibara’s activities in the areas of “Environment” and “Labor and Human Rights” continued to be highly evaluated, and in the area of “Sustainable Procurement,” Hayashibara’s score increased significantly owing to its policy-setting regarding raw material procurement and assessment activities related to the environment and human rights.

We believe that these factors led to an increase in our ranking from the previous Silver rating to Gold.

Hayashibara is also committed to contributing to the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) to realize a sustainable society through its business activities. Encouraged by this Gold rating, we will continue to promote measures to solve social issues by leveraging our strengths, aiming to enhance our corporate value and to become a company that our stakeholders continue to favor.
