From 1 April 2022, the Nagase R&D Centre has been renamed the Nagase Bio-Innovation Center.

The Nagase R&D Centre was established in 1990 and has conducted fundamental research for the NAGASE Group, mainly in the fields of genetic engineering, enzyme engineering and metabolic engineering.
The Nagase Bio-Innovation Center will promote bio-innovation across the Group through the collaboration of related organizations to promote planning, research, and development.

Biotechnology, which enables environmentally friendly production processes, is expected to be used in a wide range of industrial fields.

As a biotech company, the NAGASE Group aims to realize a sustainable world where people live with peace of mind by contributing to a sustainable society.
